They were encouraging original material in the earlier rounds, not in live shows. Grave has said so herself. And the updated T&C's say there will still be themes...

Been trash since the year James Arfur won anyway. It used to have classic moments like Yoghurt Quinn running on stage crying because his khaleesi got voted off... My fav x factor moment. And hilarious misjudgements like "Tabby", hahaha. And obvz the Jedward year... Even Vaahgnah was magical.
