Dannii and Si\'s flirt sessions
Quote:
Dannii and Si's flirt sessions SIMON Cowell's luck could be in.
His sexy co-judge on ITV's X Factor is on the lookout for a hunky older man.
Dannii Minogue says she wants a mature gentleman because she's fed up of toyboys trying it on with her.
And she revealed she and Simon - who turns 48 on October 7 - flirt like rabbits.
Dannii, 36, gushed all about Simon in an interview with Superdrug's Dare magazine.
The Aussie songstress says: "Simon’s a man of his word. I met him at a party three years ago and he told me he’d make me an international TV star and look at me now – I’m on The X Factor and loving every minute of it!
"It’s my dream job. I get to say what I like, hang out with a bunch of really cool people and flirt like mad with Simon. I think he’s met his match, though – I’m as big a flirt as he is!"
Dannii went on to muse: "I’ve lived by myself for too long and I’d like to change that. I really want to find someone and share my life and my family with them. I’m sick of being single now. I think if there’s something you want in your life you have to go after it and make the changes to allow it to happen.
And the description Dannii gives of her ideal man could have Simon tapping out her phone number quicker than you can say 'Love And Kisses'.
She says the kind of man she wants is: "One with dark hair and sparkly eyes. A gentleman."
Three points to Simon.
"And he’ll have to enjoy nesting so that I can stay at home with him to cook and be girlie!
"I want an older man – someone who’s at least 40."
Sounds like Simon could be the perfect match.
She adds: "I seem to be going through a Mrs Robinson phase where only younger guys are attracted to me, and I’m like, 'Go away, little boy!'"
Despite having been married to Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon and engaged twice - to racing driver Jacques Villeneuve and Bros star Craig Logan - Dannii still believes Mr Right is out there.
"I wish I could have looked into the future and seen that my marriage wouldn’t work, but I don’t regret any of my relationships and I won’t stop myself making a decision about a man because I’m scared it will fail," she admits.
"I’m always on at my girlfriends to set me up. I’d rather meet a man through friends than go on a blind date, but, to tell you the truth, I’d prefer not to be dating at all. I’d like Mr Right to just drop out of the sky into my lap!"
Perhaps the X Factor production staff can engineer it for Simon to parachute into the studio just like the Milk Tray man.
He's got a wardrobe full of regulation black sweaters after all...
