Do you call drag queens he or she? In To Wong Foo they're she but I'm told that film isn't accurate

In Swedish "hen" is a gender neutral pronoun.

Depends on the queen. Some don't mind either, some drag queens are also transgender so would naturally insist on 'she'. I think 'bio queens' are also a thing - women who dress in drag. I guess Michelle Visage is an example.

Usual quick option is to say "Courtney = she", "Shane = he".
