Cowell loves to disappoint folk

SIMON Cowell is back to his nasty ways in tonight’s X Factor admitting: “I love disappointing 250 people.”

Fellow judge Louis Walsh feels the brunt of his acid tongue in a row about letting down boot camp hopefuls.

And smug Simon admits: “I like the fact that we’ll see so much disappointment over the week. It’s a great way to earn a living!”

Louis and Simon lock horns when the Irish judge suggests bringing back rejected solo stars and forming them into groups.

Simon sneers: “It’s impossible — I’m putting it on record now, it will not work.”

He eventually gives in but moans: “I’ll have to pick up the pieces when it all goes wrong and say ‘guess what? Fairytales don’t come true’.”

Louis gives the flopstars 24 hours to create girl group Hope and boyband Futureproof.

Hopefuls include Sisi Jghalef who has since been axed after it emerged she has yet to complete her community service for a racially motivated assault conviction.

But Louis’ jubilation is cut short when he learns he WON’T be managing the groups — and will oversee the over 25s instead.

He whinges: “This category is a lot of hard work and I’m not the person for this.”


Simon and judge Sharon Osbourne earlier have a furious row when he sends through a wannabe she says she wants to KILL.

The fiery pair argue over Welsh opera singer Rhydian Roberts, 25.

She says after his version of Delilah by Tom Jones: “I want to throw things at him, he’s revolting.”

Simon admits Rhydian is “up his own a***.”

But he puts him through and Sharon storms off screaming: “This guy is an idiot, I want to kill him!”
