Do they? I don't. If I am in a room full of family or something I will try to wtch my language and that but I don't totally change or anything.

Yeah they do. No one is he exact same with everyone we meet. We adapt our personality to suit and for social “survival” strategies.

He was saying that he couldn’t walk into the bar in drag because the laddish behaviour of the pub folks. I can’t remember exactly what he said but I don’t think it was anything to do with lad chat or banter. He said he was camp, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be a lad. Most lads these days are and very metrosexual

I have literally never changed my personality completely based on which mates/people I am with. Its news to me that this is apparently common

It doesn’t have to be mates. If you met he queen, would you be Vicky on a night out? If you were at a job interview would you be the same as Vicky with her kids.

I know these are extreme cases but people do change slightly on how they perceive others.

I don't either.

I am slightly quiter around non friends and watch my language with adults but as a rule I am my usual self in social situations

But he is changing totally! LIke literally a different person with the 'lads' and with anyone else. He is polar opposite when with Jonny and Daniel as he is with Courtney (I know they all try to watch themselves around Ann)
