When will it get through? Ratings = Popular. Ratings do not mean 'best'. Popularity does not determine how good something is, it just determines how many people are watching.

Unlike BB7, BB5 doesn't need a bunch of excuses like "Oh it was against the World Cup etc". If BB5 wanted an excuse it could be that BB4 was a failure and many people didn't return to Big Brother after that, but it doesn't matter, I'm not bothered about that because regardless of how many watched it was still an entertaining series from start to finish.

I think if you asked the same question on a much bigger forum like Digital Spy most would choose BB3 and BB5 over BB7. Hmm but that forum has a huge bias in the favour of Aisleyne so it may be a little dodgy actually.

I already finalised this. If rating don't don't mean anything, then BB5 has no way of proving it was more popular.

Ratings mean that BB5 was more watched and then more popular but it don't mean that it was better than BB7, BB6 or an other one. That's the big difference.

Well national poll has shown that BB7 is more popular with the viewers than BB5, even the characters and best moments. Only 700,000 higher than BB7 is very small proportion considering BB5 didn't have to face stiff competition.

Face the facts, it only got 700,000 more viewers, which is nothing, it should of got more because it didn't face stiff competition like BB7 did. I think it proves BB7 is more popular as it still succeeded in ratings even though it had world cup, Sky+ and Love Ireland, how would BB5 had cope if it had world cup or other reality TV show.

Didn't BB5 supporters make excuse on the reason BB7 winning polls, because it was recent series or something, not thinking about that BB3 came 2 years before BB5 and still does good in polls. BB7 has a much valid excuse than BB5 supporters making excuses.

Other than Glyn, I liked Spiral, Richard, Sezer, Grace (I hated her back then, but she made excellent viewing), Lisa, Shahbz (a little cringeworthy though!) and thats all I can think of.

Thought Nikki was entertaining, but hated her soul!
