To be fair, she has made a career of splashing her opinions across tabloids and trash journalism, talking about both herself and (notably) about others in attacking / mocking ways, with exaggerated negative half-truths. She knows that drama and extreme stories sell, and she has happily sold them herself. I find it massive hypocrisy that she is now moaning about the media publishing dramatic stories about her taking ket and collapsing... She knows exactly why they're selling it that way. It makes a good headline.

So yeah - while I have sympathy for her actual medical issues and wish her a good recovery, I have no sympathy for pictures of her collapsed in the street being splashed across the papers. You reap what you sow with that one .

..yeah, she’s absolutely engineered her whole career, post Apprentice show...of jumping a ‘bandwagon of negativity’ and the controversial of knowing what will capture media and public attention...first step, take a current topic..mix that topic with inferring any victim is actually in some way the owner and cause of their own victim-hood...spice it all up and season it with offensive insults to just about every demographic, which she tries to disguise as ‘truth’...and there we have, Ms Katie Hopkins...her own making in any ‘listening ears’, she may hope to seek now with the reason she’s in South Africa atm...the media aren’t listening to ‘serious messages’ because of what she’s created in everything she is and everything she has wanted and actively looked for from the media and public before...


...and yeah, also there is a difference with actionary and reactionary in the comments she’s receiving now..those comments are reactionary, so are not equal to the actionary choices she has made and how she has actively relied on and hoped for those type of negative comments to further her career..and further her bank balance... through being a ‘controversial person’...
