I have to laugh - when someone gets evicted against 10 other housemates with nearly 40% of the vote, I wouldn't say thats popularity! Also, she was voted Most Entertaining housemate ever by the 8 out of 10 cats audience and what award was it?

Nikki is like marmite; you either love her or hate her, it seems. Which is why she got voted out, even though she had a huge fanbase.

Maybe her fanbase wasn't as strong as people thought, however. I would imagine that during that week that the vote would've been close between Aisleyne and Nikki, and Ash fans would be voting Nikki out and vice versa, because they're was a kind of rivalry between the two housemates and their fans.

Nikki won the National Television Award for Best TV Contender. She won over Chantelle, Pete, Carol Thatcher, all of whom won their series. She is extremely popular and unpopular. In a vote to evict she would have been evicted and in a vote to save she will always do quite well. In the final week she was that weeks "villain" and I believe purposely edited badly. The producers have admitted that they feared Nikki might have won after she re-entered so I think they edited her badly to stop even more controversy.

Nikki didn't have a chance of winning though.

She was only fighting for at the best 3rd. The top 2 was Pete and Glyn for a long time.

I don't think Nikki was badly edited in the last couple of weeks. None of her bitching in the HND or when she returned was shown (and believe me, she was vile when she returned, particularly behind Aisleyne's back), and all of her tantrums and moments with Pete were shown.

That is completely out of line!

Nikki seems to have been edited well after reading that completey horrific and shocking statement. Theres just some boundaries you don't cross. I wouldn't say Aisleyne being called a slut or cheap skank was too bad (the tramp who should rot in hell line is dispicable) but the whole mother thing! Seriously, that is wrong!

People shouldn't make personal nasty bitchy comments like that, especially about things people can't change. Nikki and her fans - you should be pretty ashamed.

I have never seen so much vitriol against one person from their fellow housemates in Big Brother as Aisleyne.

How can Aisleyne be irrelavent when you brought into you post, it just annoying how you make her to be an angel who does no wrong and others out to be the villains. I dont deny Nikki bitched or said bad things, but what appealed to me about her, is when she later admits how bad she felt about how she behaved towards people, and excepts that she is wrong. How is claiming and telling people Nikki is using Pete for fame is observation about her behaviour, that doesn't make sense, she even nominated her many times, and Nikki only nominated Aisleyne once after the week Aisleyne attacked both Leah and Nikki.
