I don’t think it would work as someone would probably just get voted out for personal reasons, like Sarah Harding or someone and if someone actually does play it strategically it’ll just look bad on them from viewers if it was a popular housemate and they’d probably be ****ed when it returns to public vote.
I only think that kind of format would work if they would win that way and not just be safe for a week.
