This group are TOTALLY different to Big Brother 2 contestants.

They said they wanted it meaner and badder, but I thought it was just the rules, not the contestants.

It's early days but they are more like individuals living in the same space, not supportive, endearing housemates.
Very well put. I find nothing endearing about them either and have been finding this years quite hard work to watch. I think Elizabeth's 'individuals' comment is very perceptive, something that I had not thought of but agree with 100%.

Absolutely. I think Elizabeth has hit the nail right on the head.

Despite this year's housemates' outward shows of affection towards each other, I don't think any one of them has any genuine affection for anyone else.

The amount of bitching and backbiting in the first week has been incredible and terrible to watch. I feel that everyone is looking after number one, trying to fool the public into seeing how caring and concerned they are, but actually they couldn't give a damn about the rest.

Just my opinion.

But the sad thing is that this is exactly what the C4 producers seem to be trying to provoke. They seem to think it makes better viewing and is more entertaining. In my opinion they are wrong. Unfortunately, I don't think the tabloid buying public agree with me.

I agree with the backbiting they are non stop but i missed todays about Alex when Jade, jonny and kate were in the girls bedroom anyone know what happened there??
i do have to say though it makes it interesting as each day they are talking about someone else so its hard to pick up on who each house mate will nominate!!
