Default Helen and Paul to wed

I take it you will have seen Dean posting on DS saying that he is to sing for Helen and Paul's wedding in november!

Is that posting genuine?

We have been bitten before, remember, by people claiming to be a housemate.

Let's not get too excited about this before it is verified

I saw that post and took it to mean Helen was asking Dean to play at her and Paul's wedding whenever that happened rather than there being a set date.

Could be wrong though...

We have heard these rumours before and they proved to be false. (Sorry but I remain sceptical)

Were it to happen, I would have to be on the side of the Groom, as Paul was one of my first clients as a cyber devil's advocate (then a function of the elite squad of cyber warriors before it was split off into a separate department)

I have already blown the dust off my hat box.

Not to say I am fantasising here but if Mr no comment could confirm the church a day or so before the event, just to the chosen few obsessed ones (Me, Busy Bee, Rachb to name but a few) we will be there, clutching the confetti, the copious hankies for floods of tears, the digital cameras, the lip gloss.

I know Sticks, you're dubious about it. I must admit, Novemeber isn't the normal 'dream wedding' date, but maybe it fits in with the shop opening or something, who knows.

I just have a feeling that this might be right.

I understand your scepticism Sticks, but Paulwj is a very reliable source. He may not have said, but it is pretty obvious who has given him this information, and I therefore think that it is very likely to be true.

Good news if it is true. But I would have thought they would have asked "Michelle" to sing at their wedding..

SO have my fingers crossed that this is true! BTLCS!! Thanks for alerting us, paulwj - I'm sure your 'source' is reliable.

ROB - hope you have a lovely holiday.

, bananarama - if I had the choice between Michelle 'wailing' Pie Jesu and Dean singing 'Deluxe' I know which one I'd pick!

What lovely news to come back to

So that means every Saturday in November is booked up for me until we hear the exact date.

Only criticism I would make (and it takes a lot for me to say this) is that if Helen is like any other engaged girl it will be killing her to keep the secret. So please let's have it known officially so that Helen can shout the news from the top of the nearest mountain so that we can all share her excitement.

Thanks Paulwj - you have made our day!!!

Got so excited I forgot to add - Helen would never never have that catawauling Michelle singing at her wedding. I reckon she will have been planning it since the day they got together.

Dean will be perfect - that song meant so much to the pair of them. Right finished now!!!
