JADE GOODY is being treated in hospital following fears she has gone into labour eight weeks early.

Docs in Harlow, Essex, are monitoring the Big Brother 3 favourite, who is pregnant by ex-boyfriend JEFF BRAZIER.

A pal said: “Everything is being done to stop Jade giving birth. She’s on gas, air . . . the works.

“Although she has split up with Jeff, he’s been by her bedside all the time. Her mum has also been there.

Her first baby, Bobby Jack, was born early too, so this is the second time she’s been through this.”

PREGNANT Jade Goody has been ordered to stay in hospital for two months until the birth of her second child.

Doctors fear the 23-year-old Big Brother winner has a dangerous infection and are taking daily blood samples.

Two weeks ago Jade, whose 14-month-old son Bobby Jack was born a month early, thought she was going into premature labour.

Medics have now ruled that out but she has been told to rest at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex - and won't even be allowed home at weekends.

A pal said: "She's in a lot of pain and will have to stay in until the birth - around October 21.

"Specialists are trying to discover exactly what the problem is."

Pals fear her break-up from ex Jeff Brazier, 24, has caused stress.

TV presenter Jeff, father of Bobby Jack and the new child, split with Jade in May after a blazing row which ended with them both being arrested.

The pal said: "She was depressed about the break-up, especially as she is facing life as a single mum.

"She was worried she could not cope with the pregnancy, or with bringing up Bobby Jack and the new baby - who she's convinced is a girl."

Jade, who has earned ÂŁ1 million since winning Big Brother 3, has launched a legal battle against her former lover over their sunbed shop, luxury car and ÂŁ300,000 Essex home.

But Jeff is said to be "desperately worried" about his ex. He'll be helping to look after Bobby Jack, whose christening, due to take place today, has been postponed.

The pal added: "Jade will miss Bobby Jack and is gutted at having to cancel the christening but the needs of her unborn child must come first."
