I'm a Vice City kinda person, it was just fun in every way imo.

San Andreas has the best story in a GTA though imo, I also liked the ambition of being able to go to multiple different cities and environments, the only thing that lets San Andreas down for me is that the difficulty is too hard for my tastes, but then I'm quite harsh on difficulty anyway as I found GTA V too easy.
