Alex McLeish had an habit of playing players in positions that they do not normally play in and weren't comfortable there, so this affected Villa's speedy counter on the wings to link up with the attack.
The defence needs a shake up too because quite a few goals were conceded from corners.

Villa used to play some nice attacking Football, even under the one last season can't remember his name again now, but ever since Mcleish tookover you's have played so boring imo, it was like watching us all over again.

 . I'm not actually sure whether he would come back to England as his young kids are settled back in Norway now and he had always intended on going back there...
