For his odds to drop that far at the bookies some big money bets have been placed. The Daily Smut article will have had a major impact on this.

Yup this was a big problem too. I think if he goes, the bookies are partly responsible for setting the odds like that. When Jemima (?) left, Emma said there was only 70 or so votes in it. I dont remember the exact numbers. SO the vote numbers are clearly extremely low.

Put a £50 bet on someone at 40/1, its a 2 grand return. Well worth voting a few hundred times to try to win your bet.

And a few hundred votes could easily swing the result.

At such high odds it would not take much for the bookies to get jittery

They will have been laying off bets all night to even out the odds more.

I follow the odds very closely, as I like to occasionally have a bet. With Bet365 he was even 50/1 for a small amount of time.

But he wouldn't have treated the others this way if they had taken the lowest amount. Only Dexter. He's still the scapegoat in there.
