I'm not "putting all of this" on you, I'm saying don't say Jake started it when he didn't - you obviously misinterpreted him wrong, and said he was making jokes about someone's death. Therefore he did not start it, he was simply voicing an opinion, and people kind of IMO, jumped on that.

That was really quite harsh, you don't know about the argument, I'm not meaning to be rude but that is a bit mean to say something like that about her for no apparent reason - I don't just announce I dislike someone. Will you people shut up and stop marring a topic about a heroic idol's death? That man was caring, kind, enthusiastic (indeed, overly so) and was someone to look up to for many small children, and indeed people all over the world. He was brave, and he loved animals. Jake, I can see why you're angry, but anybody with half a braincell knows that Steve Irwin does not represent everyone in Australia. I have to say, you were a bit harsh about what you were saying. I mean come on, the man's died. Surely you can accept that his death is a great loss to the world of entertainment, if nothing more? I mean, he was a huge part of my childhood, he was always on TV and you only needed to watch him to know he was a kind hearted man. You don't have to know him to be nice about his death, even if you don't like him there was no need to say so in this topic; the man has died.

Yes. But I know Ash, and like her. I do not know Steve Irwin.

Another thing, I did not really find Jake's supposed jokes offensive, I didn't think he was disrespecting Irwin particularly. I didn't even see them much as jokes, just his opinion.

Gazza - the don't rest in peice comment was over the top yeah, i agree but i completely stand by everything else i said.

Ruth - yeah, me saying that won't make his kids feel better but firstly; there never going to read it and secondly; it's the truth.

Chrizzle - risking your life by going to war is fighting for your country whearas risking your life to make a t.v programme when having 2 kids is selfish and foolish. There 2 completely different things.

I'm finding it hard to see most of the replies becuase of all the arguing so there just the ones i've seen. ^^
