So, 1.70m incl +1. Shame its been dropping, but to be fair it was on at 10pm (the first HL show, only other 10pm airing got 1.75m). So, its clear that CBB should stay at 9pm. Really hoping it can hit 2m tonight!
If these ratings are the norm, the officials will be around 2.1m and will be 100k lower than CBB10 which holds the lowest rated CBB right now Come on for higher ratings!! Hoping that it was just the 10pm slot and Geordie Shore which could have damaged it! Great share though! |

To beat last summers first eviction it would have to get 2.05 and a share of 10% at the least.

However on last night, need to note that I am positive that it came 2nd in its slot. Midsomer Murders got 2.75m at 8pm-10pm, the news followed at 10pm and I am pretty sure it was under 1.7m. |

Yep I think it did, tonight's eviction is only an hour! Can't remember if the first eviction of CBB 12 was an hour!

Lol, oh yeah forgot about that! Not to bad! It's Pauline's thought. Wonder when this series ends? I heard the 16 or 17th Spetember. It's a episode series.

That's with the +1 share added. I was under the impression you cant add shares together as they are specifically added to the timeslot and people watching at a certain point in time.
6.5% weren't watching at 9pm. Why aren't these highlights cracking 2 million a night it deserves it and the viewers are obviously there. Great to see its timeshifting so well and im confident 90% of the officials will all surpace 2 million Last edited by daniel-lewis-1985; 27-08-2014 at 11:19 AM. |

The share for last night was very good though with ~10%. IMO, it depends what they want from the show. If they want higher shares and to beat Ch4 in primetime shares, then they will put in on at 10pm, if they want more attractive overall figures then they will put it on at 9pm. Personally, I think its odd that they chose to put it on at 10pm on one day, and that day is Tuesday (where it faces Geordie Shore), you'd think if they wanted to have just one 10pm airing a week, they'd put it on a Thursday where there is literally no competition whatsoever when Celebrity Juice isn't on. However, I am glad they are more or less consistent, its the most consistent they have been in the entire Ch5 run, isn't it? Six 9pm starts, one 10pm start, when in other years it was all over the place, and didn't even stick to it, one time a Tuesday would air at 10pm and then the next, at 9pm! |

It's much more easier to watch than this years civilian series, but I fear it's peaked entertainment wise with the Frency v Leslie episode. Hopefully, I'm proven wrong.

9pm slot (incl +1)
BBC1- Last Chance Academy- 2.45m BBC2- Horizon- 1.55m ITV- Secrets from the Asylum- 1.94m CH4- Star Paws- 1.10m CH5- Celebrity Big Brother- 1.89m Very close between all the channels! It's a shame its not hiting 2m, but it seems everything is not doing very well, except for Great British Bakeoff which got a huge 8.10m at 8pm last night. |

It's a decent rating, 8.5% share without plus 1. Does anyone know what CBB 10 and 12 averaged overnight, BBSPY says both 1.92 but I don't remember CBB 10 doing that we'll. CBB 10 got about 5 over 2 M but then it got a few very lows ones with like 1.50. As long as CBB 14 averages 1.90 then it's good.

I don't get why you don't like CBB in summer, if anything it's refreshing to have after BB. But if there is really successful BB like BB 14 then it's not really needed, the series isn't flopping at all, ratings have been decent.

Normally I'd agree, but BB15 left with such a bitter feeling about BB in general that I am happy that CBB14 came along after to try and make me completely forget about it.
Also, how is it flopping? It has come close to overtaking ITV in around 5 occasions and it did overtake it on Tuesday night. And it is pretty much stable on the previous two summers despite there being around 4m less viewers a night of TV this year than those two series.
