Loved the episode, although my one criticism is that when the crab was coming towards Clara, why didn't she just run out the door? (I know it was a dream but even still)

I don't mind Clara all that much but I would have liked Capaldi to get a new companion for series 9.

If only because it still feels like he's being lumbered with Matt Smith era castoffs. I want him to have his own characters etc.

I don't mind Clara staying alone for a little while longer tbh. Capaldi will no doubt be the longest running Nu Who Doctor so he will get some of his own companions in future.

Good episode last night too. The CGI was good quality too. Looking forward to seeing what they do next year. Although I must say even as a fan of most of Moffat's writing style, I think he needs to leave the show soon, would be nice to see someone else take over the lead writer role.

As long as it's not Mark Gatiss, I'd be happy. Could see Chris Chibnall becoming showrunner if Moffat left.

Great episode, I'm glad that Clara's back for Season 9.

I don't think that they need to bring in a new companion for Capaldi, Clara was thrived as a character with Capaldi's doctor and I can see her being the defining companion of his run already. She makes it easy to forget that she was a companion to Matt Smith's Doctor first.
