Oh no, I loved 2012. BB13's my favourite C5 series, don't get me wrong.

But I wouldn't class that as the golden era. With BB14 and CBB13, both shows were the highest rated on 5, at the time (BB14 still is for BB and CBB13 is only narrowly lower than CBB15 - which is the current highest) and there was an increased hype and publicity in both the formats and felt more of an event.

CBB9 was a good series in terms of entertainment, but it fell victim to the gaudy cotton-candy TOWIE presentation that was rife in CBB8/BB12 (as well as any other early C5 series)
