Well really, that's quite subjective. There's a lot of people who thought Makosi was a ****, went too far etc etc. I think that's stupid personally but they still think it. And without turning this into another Marc debate because he's not that worth it, I really don't think he did anything that bad?

The point is that without these divisive, high profile characters you don't have a programme. Without them, and you can dislike them on a personal level as much as you want (and trust me I do a lot of my favourites), the show falls flat on its face. Nobody's tuning in to watch Steve Gill sit on the sofa, people want storylines, incidents, action that they can talk about the next day at work, school etc. Without these types of housemates, this can't happen. It's like EastEnders killing off all its main characters, nobody would watch - and a show like Big Brother is pretty much a soap with storylines - get rid of them and no1curr
