i myself like couples choice, i know it is controversial to say that
but i like also seeing other dance styles such as Hip Hop, Hawaiian, Jazz, Contemporary, Disco hope we also get to see Bhangra soon either, also a very lovely and very entertaining looking piece of dance art Flamenco would make a nice choice either also couples choice is a ''showdance'' more or less yes, but each of these dance styles also bring with them their own respective techniques you still got to learn and perfect so it is not like you have a week off or anything from rehearsing Robert & Dianne i quite like as a pair, i love their muppets quickstep, little or no gapping at the quickstep part which is impressive, compared to Adam last year where there was much gapping i love how brave Dianne is and i respect her how she wants to be dressed up as these iconic characters 3 years in a row now, as Abu (with Dev's aladdin) Marge Simpson (Max's couples choice) and now Miss Piggy

I have to say sadly I'm not keen on the couple's choice dances myself.
Prefer to see set dances even moreso when they're danced well. Could do a mini separate series for dances where anything goes. With the other tripe on the BBC, an extra mini series would be welcomed by me. |

but i like other sorts of dances in this show either tbh Rhys didn't quite deserve a 10, more because Hip Hop needs much tighter, staccato popping and locking, and i found him too energetic almost turning it into a Hip Hop Jive Ugo's didn't look as neat, or didn't have musicality for some (i thought that routine of his and Oti truly embraced the hawaiian culture so well, since Moana is a hawaiian animation movie, and hawaiian dance isn't really known for the best looking piece of dance, but that dance style they have is a very fun one, maybe also my bias that i'm a fan of hawaii's culture) Greg last week with his Disco/Contemporary fusion CC, i thought his disco moves were very on point, in sync with Karen, and i found that particular fusion of those two styles very interesting either

I think Rhys can do great ballroom. But I really want to see a jive or Charleston from him.
If he has ballroom then it has to be quickstep.

It was close definitely but for me Judi should have gone tonight.
She just walked round and shook a bit. Shirley is really hopeless, in my view. |

I'm disappointed that Katie was eliminated, her dance was better than Judi's, and Judi made a mistake, Shirley didn't notice of course...

Katie was indeed better in the dance off
also lol at Anton twice in a row leaving the decision to Shirley just for the lols of placing her in that crucial decision making which she gets loads of criticism forTilly a Paso Doble Adam the first argentine tango of the series Dan a cha cha cha to mc hammer you can't touch this

I like Judy, but she made a mistake in the dance off. Yet Shirley said she didn't see it. Funny that Anton saw it and she didn't

I'm interested to see how Adam & John's dances go.

Definitely Mock.
Adam dipped last week although I haven't been greatly impressed with him up to now anyway. The routines haven't been all they could have, for me anyhow. From my own family and those I discuss Strictly with. I've never come across such massive enthusiasm after a dance, like I've heard re John and Johannes Paso Doble. It was really brilliant in my view, a continuous and packed routine. It will be interesting to see how things go this weekend again too. I had some hopes for Tilly but she does good though not with that sparkle needed. Somehow I think Judy and Dan may struggle again. However, this series is really one of the strongest ever for me as to Strictly. The faults are few really and seem to not affect the routines at all. My gripe is when what the dance is and when it's NOT done at least in a major part how it ought to be. Yes, if they must have segments of a variation, fine, however stick to the disciplines of the dance too mostly too. |

The people who have Latin will likely score less. Apart from Rhys, who I expect will dance a great salsa. Rose will also do great, but won't be a high score.

How in the week 10s were being dished out, then she didn't get one for that hauntingly beautiful routine she did last weekend, is beyond me. |

![]() I liked Tilly's Charleston, but that's been about it so far for her. And John & Johannes so far for me have been so incredibly consistent, I can definitely understand why people are starting to hype them up, especially after the Paso performance (which I can understand why your friends & Family have rated that dance highly) it'll be a shame to see that consistency ruined on Saturday if the American Smooth goes wrong. And I agree with you that the dances by and large should always have basic steps that need to always be followed, I never understand it when people do a dance and then don't recreate the dance at all.
