Turns out the reason why Ric Flair backed out of Thursday Night's Takeover II (He was planned to introduce Kenta. Wasn't supposed to be his daughter's manager during her match) was because he needed stomach surgery that came on a short notice

He was also supposed to be the referee in a dark match at the SD taping that involved Orton and Reigns but he's been scratched from that as well.
