The man in your avatar shall be replacing his storylines in the show I think.

Mance was completely different in the books anyway, one of my favourite characters in them but he was incredibly boring in the show

Major spoilers about the upcoming battle

Spoiler:

There’s new information about season 6 filming, particularly the big scene that everyone is discussing these days: the battle at Saintfield. Whether you call it the battle of six armies, the battle of the bastards, Snow Bowl, or some other term of your own making, this fight is huge. There have been a lot of rumors going around, and we can now confirm some new info.

We can confirm that Sansa Stark will be there, and that Sophie Turner was seen filming alongside the battlefield. The battlefield has a few Starks, actually, if you count Jon.

Contrary to some rumors, our source did not see any White Walker performers filming or any sign that there would be White White action in the battle.

The battle will have real casualties and we’ll be saying goodbye to some characters.

Ramsay Bolton will be displaying at least two bodies upside down on X-crosses, burning during battle. They are known characters.

There will be more giant action- we mean an actual giant. Possibly Wun Wun, but who can tell when he’s not on set! Attack scenes involving a giant (that wasn’t there, of course) were filmed. The good old ball-on-the-stick was standing in for the giant on set.

The battle sounds like it will be incredible and I’m unbelievably excited for season 6 already!

Assuming the letter Ramsay sends Jon in the books is true, then it would make sense if one of those bodies is Stannis. No idea who the other would be, Theon maybe...

Finished the game so I decided I should Finally start watching it properly rather than here or there when my sister or girlfriend watch it. Feel kind of ****ty that it took me so long . I finished Season 2. 2x9 was a masterpiece of television.

So far the best characters are

1. Tyrion
2. Arya
3. Tywin
4. Bronn/Ned Stark

Jon could be up there, but he's hardly shown it feels like. I don't hate the Lannisters as much as I thought I would going off how I heard that everyone hates them so much. It's only Joffrey that is a twat. Danny is so bratty and annoying and is the worse main character. Arya and Cersei are easily the best female characters. Danny's storyline feels incredibly dull in comparison to the others...even with the Dragons.

Is nobody else perched for this, it's starting in 3 weeks

Seeing as we're all pretty much in the dark about this season, who or what (at a guess) do y'all want Ep 9 to revolve around, I've seen some spoilers about Dany

Spoiler:

her burning down a Khalasars ancient temple and walking out unburnt like in S1, but if she's still with them by Ep 9 I'll be annoyed that she's pissed away another season on the other side of the world


So I hope it's not that

And as its been S1: major death, 2: battle, 3:major deaths, 4:battle, 5:surprise death/bitch flying away on a dragon, I'm guessing it might be another battle? Maybe the battle for winterfell?
