Oh and going back to my suggestion that ManC haven’t been too impressive of late ( Luton aside) .. .. Arsenal’s last three away results are 5:0 , 5:0 and 6:0 . Now that’s my idea of impressive .. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

They've scored 9 goals in their last 2 games, but of course they're "boring" and "lucky"

Man City this year so far - Unbeaten, won 11 out of 12 games scoring 31 goals in the process. But yeah, they've been crap

This schedule will decide how impressive ManC are !!!
![]() If they get through that lot unscathed ( plus no injuries to KDB and Rodri ) they will probably win the league .. That’s a decent sized IF though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Zizu, have you watched any of the last 5 or 6 seasons?

This is why the bloke frustrates me so much, his bias for his teams being great, at all times, and every other team not being great, ever, is just so tiresome!

Ive explained my thinking and even shown the five results ( against duff teams ) in the period I was referring to Cant do more than that .. sorry I don’t think they are as impressive as past seasons. .. They have been without Grealish for a while who was fantastic last season , they sold Mahrez , Gundogan and even an emergent Palmner and brought in Doku who flatters to deceive . I mean, only better (arguably) English player than Foden in the world atm, this season, is Bellingham. But of course because Foden plays for City, and not Arsenal, Spurs or Liverpool he's unimpressive and overrated.

They are 1 point behind liverpool. Those points came from half a season without grealish, kdb and partially haaland. So they are doing perfectly fine

I never said they weren’t winning .. I suggested that they weren’t winning impressively ( Luton aside ) … but just doing enough - as shown in those 5 games I highlighted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Last edited by Zizu; 04-03-2024 at 11:38 AM. |

City have always done enough to win the game they are playing. Game management. Thats how they keep the team in peak form in all competitions. It's what they have done for years

It's what champions do! Look at Utd under Fergie, they were very impressive at times, but others not so much, yet they grind out the results. It's something i think Liverpool have now too, a lot of the time they play well, but even when they're not impressive now they get results. Chelsea did it when they were actually decent. I mean hell, under Jose in his first two seasons we would go 2-0 up and pretty much shut up shop, it wasn't always fun to watch, but we were successful.

It's Sheffield Utd
Brighton have scored 10 against them in the last month, even Burnley hit 5 past them.
