The episodes have not been great really. The editing is killing it mostly. Cutting and pasting scenes all over the place, trying to stick two different plots with the same character together, it's also annoying how characters seem to pop up 20mins into an episode for a short scene.

Monday 20th: Secrets Revealed



Mercedes will be surprised to learn the secrets she confided in Dr Browning have only served to bring them together, however, will Jacqui's shocking discovery blow them apart?

Tilly will prepare for a future away from Hollyoaks with Jen, but things won't go as smoothly as she planned when Jen's reaction isn't what she hoped for.

Riley will call upon his ex-fiance to rid him of Mitzeee's ex-cellmate Shayne, will Mercedes be up to the task? Elsewhere, Walker will have a preposition for Ally, Leanne will try to stop Texas from leaving, and two Hollyoaks jail birds will clash as they cross paths in prison.

Tuesday 21st: Dangerous Territory



Jacqui's concerns for Mercedes will grow, as Dr Browning will struggle to convince Mercy that they have a future together... is Mercedes falling for him in spite of herself? Things will go from bad to worse for Mercy when she's kidnapped...

Elsewhere, Tilly will be comforted by by Neil as she struggles to accept Jen's news, but will she roll over so easily? Cheeky chappy Dodger will try to regain his mojo, whilst Texas will make plans for her future away from Hollyoaks. Ally will win Ash's forgiveness, but Walker will have bigger plans for him...

Wednesday 22nd: In the Name of Love



Following recent revelations, a troubled Mercedes will focus her attentions back on Riley. Will he welcome them? Tilly will take a new tack, and she will find herself in trouble with the police after stealing Jen's car.

Elsewhere, Texas' leaving party will spur Dodger into taking action, but will it be a case of too little, too late? Brendan, Joel and Cheryl will begin to build bridges once again, as they unite in their grief for Lynsey, while Ryan's arrival will leave Phoebe out in the cold.

Thursday 23rd: Stay or go?



Texas will face difficult decisions as she leaves Hollyoaks behind for Australia, will Dodger catch her in time and stop her in her tracks? Riley will have some important choices to make as he says goodbye to Mitzeee, but how will Mercedes deal with his latest news?

Meanwhile, it's GCSE results day for Esther and Bart, but have they done as well as they expected? The return of a Queen-Bee sixth former will leave Esther on the edge. The McQueens will prepare for the return of the mother hen of the family, will she be able to bring them all together once again?

Friday 24th: Surprising Propositions



Mercedes will fear she's about to lose Riley and Bobby for good, but Riley will make a shock proposition - could Mercedes be about to get everything she has ever dreamed of?

Myra will be settling back into the McQueen roost, but Jacqui will see the cracks starting to show. Elsewhere, Maddie will succeed in alienating Esther from the group, while Phoebe continues to try and drive a wedge between George and Ryan.

Jen will try to make amends with Tilly, but Tilly won't be about to forgive and forget so easily...

guys, just to let you all know, I didn't make the final cut for the storyliner job at Hollyoaks pretty gutted, but as they said in their e-mail, I did well to get as far as interview stage and assessment out of over 550 applications, so that's some consolation, boo hoo. I also had the experience of going to Lime Pictures, interacting with the writers in the workshop and seeing how things work behind the scenes, was fascinating, and even caught a brief glimpse of two of the actors in passing,

I've been cheeky enough to ask if I can interview a couple of the cast, via e-mail, for this section of the forum, hey, if you don't ask you don't get, and they can only say no, so I went for it I'll keep you posted.

Hollyoaks does really well at keeping big story twists under wraps, as we saw with Lynsey's murder. At the same time, some fans would like more longer-term spoilers to be revealed like we see with the other soaps, so they know what to look forward to beyond the next week. Is this something you'd look at?
"We try to strike the right balance between both, and particularly because the Lynsey murder was such a good surprise. I really want to keep that element of surprise so the show is unpredictable - if you tune into Hollyoaks, you don't know what you're going to get. You can think you've read all of the spoilers, but then we're just going to throw you a massive curveball.

Emma's spot on with this, it's great that Hollyoaks manages to keep some stuff under wraps, spoilers can be good to an extent, but nothing beats the wow factor, and there's been plenty of that lately, Lynseys death, the revelation of Walker as an undercover cop, and the stunning (in my opinion) reveal of Browning as the killer and the unexpected twist that Walker witnessed it all and let her die. A real jaw dropper

Hard luck but but you got far so they must think you have potential, I'd feel extremely complimented if I was you. Why don't you try some other shows?

Because everybody else don't get a look in. It's looking like Stug is gonna end in favour of Stendana t one point, so fans of that are left at the expensve of Brendan and Ste..

Fans of Lynsey were left when she was killed off so that Brendan could get some drama with Walker and to further the Browning thing fair enough..

Ste's entire history with the show is ****ed up because Emma seems to want to erase the fact he ever had kids/Amy and fit him into her all gayed up camptastic vision of Hollyoaks..

Seriously, put Paul 'Grady in the Dog and have Julian Clary running Chez Chez and be done with it.
