We deserved a year of storylines for Sam and more development and her to go off on a long holiday before coming back like, some other time

What is interesting is how Ruby questioned Iain for sitting with someone, talking, and having a cuppa a few weeks ago

But then today she's pretty much telling him to stay and do what they did a few weeks prior and he didn't listen

****ing gutted that Sam died </3 She was my fave character back in the day and I'm sad that not only did she get no development, she had romantic connections with the worst s character (Jacob) and was a right bitch to our Ruby.

I was ready for ha to survive this and then have her redemption arc but NO!

it's pretty tragic how Sam's return seemed to have no purpose beyond making Lily feel jealous of her and Iain and dating Jacob

I'm just glad that Alicia, Iain and Dylan are all still standing. But Sam living would've topped it off.

You gotta love how the ED staff always insist people get checked over in the most simple of scenarios regardless of whether they're physically injured or not, yet Iain and Sam weren't asked. So basically the one time they didn't want to check if two paramedics who were at the scene of an explosion (one of which was involved in a crash) resulted in death

It was a waste of her returning tbh. I can see why she did it as she had a baby in real life so easy money for her... But they never did anything with her. Hope they bring Tom back for her funeral... Might happen as she is married to him in real life

Overall a good episode, I liked Mr Morris and Hoke!

Next year Ruby pops by and for a few scenes it looks like she's having lunch with her husband and kid, but then it turns out she's rocking back and forth in the corner, laughing hysterically, in a sea of piss <3
