Well I suppose they have a lot of time on their hands to waste right now.

Usually they'd be at work or maybe on their holidays at this time of year, but somebody has stripped them of their freedoms by telling them that something is bad for them, by the way, you can't see that something, it's just a coincidence that it's invisible.

Wait until more and more people's money starts running out, and they can no longer feed themselves or pay the bills. You'll see then that the people can change things.

A nasty bunch of terrorists

That was the militant wing of the women's suffrage movement. The majority were moderates who marched in solidarity and posted leaflets and it was those moderate suffragettes who, after years of peaceful protest, convinced an increasing number of MPs to support female suffrage.

If people can't march for their beliefs, then we no longer live in a democracy. There's many marches I can't stand, but I respect their right to do it.
