Because respect for both PM and Opposition leader should work both ways.
That's why.
Plus when the Speaker allows the opposition leader's question, it's really the duty of the PM to be there.

Rather than waste the time today.

[The pound rose and government borrowing
costs fell on Monday,
as investors welcomed the announcement
by Chancellor Jeremy Hunt of the reversal
of most of the mini-budget tax measures.
Sterling extended gains against the dollar,
and is trading above $1.14.

Who thinks the media has done a good job reporting on this fiasco?

For me its highlighted more clearly than ever before how bad our media are. They talk about Truss's U turn, have they looked at themselves?

Most of the MS media are of the right, so they can't actually be honest about what is happening because they agreed with pretty much all of it, as I showed with the Oakeshott and Farage examples a couple of pages ago.
