More than two dozen cruise missiles launched at Iranian sites overnight

More from the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who provides further technical details about last night's operations.

Caine says only a small number of "planners and key leaders" were informed about the plans. He says seven B-2 bombers were involved in the 18-hour flight into the target area.

Once the bombers reached Iranian airspace at approximately 17:00 local time (22:00 BST), a US submarine launched "more than two dozen" Tomahawk cruise missiles against "key targets" at the Isfahan nuclear site.

Iran ‘on verge of regime change’, says former Trump adviser

John Bolton, Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, said the US strikes have left Iran “on the verge” of “regime change”.

Mr Bolton, who has been a frequent critic of his former boss, told CNN that the US president made the “right decision for America”, calling Iranian leadership “very vulnerable” and “in trouble”.

While he suggested Iran would be wary of taking on the US, he said it could seek to close the Strait of Hormuz to damage global shipping, strike US military or civilians, damage oil infrastructure, or launch terrorist attacks around the world.

In that situation, Mr Trump would have no choice but to use “brutal force against the Iranian regime”, he said.

It is absolutely spamming. Whatever James decides I will abide by without issue, and we both know he won't go against you spamming, because it's been allowed for so many years, but I'd like an official decision on spamming pics in SD threads, because James is tightening up SD, so it's a good time to get all the rules out in the open, so everyone knows where they stand.
