Joke.

Brooke may not be the best singer there like..

But she has emotion and feeling into every song (except here comes the sun).

So Like..

Yea.

:P Lol.
LMAO.
she ain't the best singer.
I'd consider her one of the most talented?
I mean, she plays piano by ear.
that.. is bloody difficult.

I think calling her crap was a bit unfair Billy :P

Not really, Kristy's improving.

Brooke sounds the same on every song, as if she has a sore throat.

Ramiele > Shivahz.
Ramiele can sing.
Amazingly.
&She proved that :]

Kristy sounds very samey?
I'll admit, she's improving, and I'd be happy for her to finish anywhere but first now, because of her improvements.
But I do kinda think that some of the previous contestants should still be there in her place [Michael, Ramiele, even Danny, Asia'h and Alaina, whom I'd consider much better than Kristy]
&I'd consider Brooke much better.

What have the previous contestants got to do with anything? All the people you mentioned can apply to Brooke aswell. Although Ill give Brooke, that shes better than Rami.

Emily also proved she can sing

Great how she has deserted the UK so soon. Didn't Simon buy her a house over there?
deserted?how has she deserted the UK?and no Simon didnt but her a house in the US.
Umm yes he has.
She released a CD last month here? Artists always take time out from their native countries to tour/promote in others. She's been out there for like a week or so now.
Noooo, I thought she had got a house from Simon, I know shes not abandoned UK.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Haha, sorry Billy.

Shame I thought we had got rid of her. She just produces bland, radio-friendly pop music for the tasteless masses.

I read that this morning, I can't wait for the results show, to be honest I was shocked. I thought they would go a lot further in the show and expected them to make the final.

All I can think of is that the Americans aren't so forgiving and "it's one bad song and your out" over there. I thought overall they were the most improved singer in the show

Just because he doesn't like pop music doesn't mean he doesn't have a point?
I listen to all sorts, Pop/Rock/some R&B/Classical, and I agree with him.
I found all of Leona's songs rather. boring? dull?
&I have heard her album, which is why I refuse to buy it.

I dont get why Syesha is in the bottom 3? She was the best, i though. That high note was Leona high, i dont get why she aint liked. Brooke who is ZZZZZZZZZZ her voice is so boring and her nice nanny still a virgin act is starting to feel very fake now. Syesha is the most underated contestant ever.

I have been thinking about what Simon keeps saying about David Cook coming across as arrogant. And he does at times and it affects his performances in a noticeable way. Although he is always good, he can be fantastic when he tames that arrogance. Simon points it out in order for him to get it under control and it seems to work for one or two performances then it returns.

I have been thinking about what he is doing while he is singing and what he is doing wrong that makes him come across the way he does sometimes. I'm no music expert but I do have a similar expertise in another field. Looking at the times Simon has said he has been arrogant and comparing those performances against the real great ones I have come to this conclusion

What he does when it works is he lives in the moment. He lives song, feels words and completely connects with music. He doesn't worry about what his doing he just gets on and does it. He becomes connected and in the moment. The words have meaning and you can see it and feel when he sings and what you see is special. When he gets it wrong he is out of the moment. He is not connected with the words or the music in the same way. It's like the performance is some kind of repeat of something he did before that was good and he knows was good and he can't let go of it. He just repeating the performance and judging himself and telling himself it is good. The problem is it comes over as being arrogant. This judging process and the desire and the self instilled knowledge that he is good gets in the way and stops himself being good. What he lacks is the belief in himself that once he has done something good he can do it again so he relies on the past memory of that good performance. The problem is our memories play tricks on us and the repeat performance is never the same it is degraded and this judging process gets in the way. Every time you perform live it has to be done live not from memory otherwise it will look false.

What he needs to do is let go of he past and live in the moment every time he performs. He has to know he is good enough to sing without knowing or worrying if he is good. Basically the trick is to just do it. Never think look at me I'm good. Just do it. It's the hardest lesson to learn as singer, an actor or any kind of performer.

Red, you and I have different idea's of what constitutes a pop idol (sorry american idol). And its odd because we live in the same house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

David Cook is an amazing artist, he is original, inspirational and goes that extra mile

Not my type of artist but hell...... that doesnt matter.

He wont win the contest.

Because he doesnt have the fan base

If it was based on talent alone he would win hands down but its not, its based on what America want as an artist

David A will win

I agree and that is what is wrong with these types of shows. The public have favorites and they are the winners. A lot of the time it's not based on talent alone. If that was the case the person that went on this week would have still been in the show next week.

He is a very good singer, but he is so young and has no real experience of life to put into some of the songs he sings which can making bland at times. All most boring.

Then again he has the best chance of winning because he can make those bland, radio-friendly pop music that will get him into the charts and into the number one spot over there. It's why the judges like him so much. He has the dollar factor written all over him.

YES!
Someone agrees with me!!
He is really boring?
I find it hard to sit through his performances yet he hasn't touched the bottom 3.
I really do hope he doesn't win.
I can't see the attraction.
He ain't even that good looking >.<
Personally, that title went to Michael Johns, and now to David Cook.
BUTANYWAY.

I want David A to goooo!
