& yes,i read that interview with Neyo a few days ago and im not happy about it. i love generic pop/R&B songs but i hope Leona avoids that with her second album because her voice is capable of so much more IMO.Shes said it herself that she wants a "live sound" to the second album,so hopefully she will turn down the Neyo demos and leave them for Alexandra.but im worried she wont be able to do that; Neyo wrote Im You for the first album and its ****,but it made the album cut anyway because of his name.

I have to agree there KKBL. I'm you was the worst song on the album. I want to see a load of Nice Songs, Like "Take a bow", "Here I am" As well as some "Forgive me" Type tracks. I really hope she can get a really iconic song out of her new album!

Just heard snow patrols version of run...

And its crap! Its no where near as good as leona's version, and its kinda boring.

Dont like his voice, Her version is amazing.

Only people who dislike leona / like snow patrol will prefer it and the ones who like original better.

Ahahaha, no, for some reason, I just find it more fun to discuss artists I dislike. I tend to post in the Britney thread a lot and I'm not really a fan :\

On the Snow Patrol debate, I think it's out of order to say it's crap, because at the end of the day, they wrote it, they've been playing it for the past 9 years, and if it was crap then Leona would never have chosen to cover it so she obviously likes the song.
I prefer SP's obvs but everyone's entitled to their opinion.

i prefer Leonas version,i still love the original Snow Parol track though, the guitaring is amazing on it.But i agree with Darren,they wrote the song so it is out of order for a Leona fan to say its crap and TBH its probably best to just avoid making those comparisons alltogether.

I agree. Snow Patrol Did write it and play it, they are the stars of the song. But Leona Has better vocals from a "Singing" point of view

well no not really... from a "vocals" point of view Leona sings it better but from a "singing" point of view alot of people might think that SP do it better because its a rock ballad and Gary has that raw eomtional voice which fits the song.

Yeah, agreed (haha, we agree for once!), both artists have given their own interpretations and people are gonna like different versions. It's not fair to call Snow Patrol's crap though, esp. if it's not your sorta music. At least recognize the talent and effort gone into it.
