Of course they rehearse it you numpty but someone weighing about 16+ stone landing on you when you're lying on a table is going to fcking hurt! Taking bumps from crazy heights or from a top rope night after night 300+ days a year is gonna fck up your back! How is that fake?!

they learn how to land punches, how to telegraph, the way you slam your foot when you 'hit' your opponent, so that it sounds like you did something; how to fall, how to properly execute wrestling moves and make them look real, and all of that sort of thing. If you or I tried to perform (for example) a "piledriver", we'd break someone's neck! You have to hold the man higher than your knees, so that the force of the drop is on your knees, and not on his head

I know they learn all that Smithy but it still ****s you up later in life, so therefore the bumps they take are real in that respect. Most of them are working with bulging discs in their backs and necks, bone chips in their elbows, legs etc...it's not natural to do the things they do every night. So it is not fake. Of course they're not going to land someone on their head on purpose etc, that would be mental, but I take exception to people saying it's all fake tbh. I'd like to see a lot of people who say that try it for a living!

But the injuries etc which they receive are only from when the stunts go wrong. Of course they're going to get bruises etc but thats what comes with the job. Pretty much everything is padded and they're trying to pass it off as real, so it is fake.

No they're not! No matter how much you practice taking bumps and yes they learn how to fall and everything but only so far as to make sure they don't break their damn necks everytime they do it! Why do you think they all have these neck and back problems? Because they are taking hits to the back (from great heights at times) every night week in week out, year after year! It's not rocket science! The ring isn't padded.

It's useless arguing this point with people with your view tbh, I should know better by now lol
