It's a pain in the arse but rebranding political protest (even protest of dubious matters) as breach of the peace is a very, very slippery slope that plenty of societies have gone down several times throughout both modern and ancient history. The overall results tend not to be great.

the police should be there to ensure any protest is peaceful or arrest the culprits. No protestor should be allowed to intimidate the general public.

Tbh while I was just being facetious (as you probably knew) I agree it's probably not the best thing to apply such terms to (currently) nonviolent protests.

I mean this is being painted as unusual but it really isn't - how many Union Jack shaggers do you think have any real clue about the history of the United Kingdom, the Monarchy, etc? I'd going to hazard a guess at "almost none". That's not a dig at Britain either it's the same pretty much anywhere... the ignorance about the actual history of the US in the US is shocking and yet they do love parading the stars and stripes around.

One guy regularly goes on the street in the USA and targets 18-24's

"What country is the Panama Canal in?"

This one young black girls was like "bro, a have no clue" and he was like "come on clue is I'm the name have a guess"

I swear she thought about it for a few seconds and said "Japanese?"
