I will say that I think Villa would've been more competitive last night, if Martinez had've been in goal.

But Man City are clearly still the superior team, Villa are only the fourth team in the Midlands after all.

I can't believe that I'm having to defend Villa here, but you're comparing a team run on a big budget, but nothing that special by today's standards, to a team that is run by a Country.

If Man City couldn't leave certain players out because of a lack of depth in the squad, then something would be seriously wrong.
