I am gutted about only Barney and Leanne from that list. Some actors chose to leave fair enough, in some cases their characters were underused e.g. Rob and Annalise so it is a shame in that sense that the characters were not developed enough.

At least the cast numbers will be going down a bit. I do definitely think we will have a new uni student group cast too!

'Hollyoaks' Tom Turner: 'Nate plots will be very dramatic'

Hollyoaks actor Tom Turner has promised that his character Nate Tenbury-Newent will feature in "very dramatic" scenes in upcoming episodes.

Nate returned to screens last week as he came face-to-face with Cheryl Brady (Bronagh Waugh) again, having previously taken a shine to her in the last series of Hollyoaks Later.



Turner told e4.com of his Hollyoaks comeback: "The cast have been absolutely great. Obviously I didn't get to meet everyone on Hollyoaks Later. I got to meet Emmett (Scanlan) who plays Brendan, Neil (Newbon) who plays Walker, and a few other faces as well, but I didn't really get to work with them that extensively.

"It was mainly just me and Bronagh, who who plays Cheryl. So to come back and get to do scenes with all the other guys has been brilliant."
