I was laughing at the way Makosi got booed, its her own fault for claiming that she had sex with Anthony in the pool she is such an actress and I laughed at Ant on bblb reunion today when he started slating her then he looked at her and said you are an absolute liar and Dermot goes ok calm down Anthony ha ha ha lol! How could you feel sorry for her she is an actress and she needs to learn that there are more important things in life than her!

I couldn't agree more. The reason Davina said she showed no remorse is because she didn't. Was she supposed to lie?

You should probably get your story right, because Davina asked Makosi if she had any remorse and Makosi replied she didn't.So why would Davina say she had no remorse?

The adage 'you reap what you sow' has seldom been more fitting. Makosi fluked her way to the final night - fact. She escaped nomination and even eviction several times when she was a dead cert. to go. The BB producers play the evictions to what they perceive the majority of the audience's opinion to be, and have done since the show began. People that have been present during evictions in the past have often noted that production staff move sections of the crowd so that they're closer to or farther away from the cameras and / or microphones. The same goes for those with banners, too. Microphone placement and the volume afforded to them in the mix-down is another factor. BB had a predetermined plan of how Makosi's eviction would be handled, and they simply gave the vast majority of the public what they wanted and had craved for quite some time now.

Suggesting that Davina did nothing to stop the crowd reaction is unwarranted. She is simply the interpreter of a set of scripted questions, and constant small amendments to such through the link with production staff in her earpiece. There were a few times when she made comments that weren't addressed to Makosi, and it was obvious that, in effect, she was asking for guidance as to what she should do to remedy the situation. There was nothing that Davina could've done, but several things that the production team could've done. They could've cut the interview short, or cut to a break and moved her indoors to continue the interview there. They could've adjusted the sound levels to cut the booing, or removed the boom mics entirely. None of those things were done, because the reaction we witnessed at home was exactly what the production team wanted.

Personally, I had no time whatsoever for Makosi. But I can appreciate that there is indeed a minority that supported her. That minority would've been represented in the audience, too. For every eviction, when the evicted hm is being interviewed, the crowd surrounding them are typically made up of that hm's supporters. Why was this not the case for Makosi? Because the production team wanted booing and jeering, not cheers and applause.

Throughout the interview, Davina gave her the option to redeem herself and/or apologise for her actions on numerous occasions. She steadfastly refused to do so. If she had, that would hardly have converted the crowd instantaneously to Makosi supporters. But it would most certainly have put them on the wrong foot, and pacified them to some degree. Instead, she decided to be smug, arrogant and complacent. That could only ever have exacerbated the situation, and she knew it, too. She could've apologised to Kemal for playing him. He was sitting only feet away from her, after all. She was asked if she'd been playing a game in the house, and could've said yes and silenced a good proportion of the crowd in the process. She could've come clean about the pool incident with Anthony, but she decided to stick with her own wafer thin interpretation. She was already swimming with sharks, but instead of accepting the lifebelt she was thrown, she chose to pour petrol on top and light a match. Again, you reap what you sow.

Makosi did fluke her way to the final week (although not the final night) - if the public had had it's way the week Vanessa went, it would have been Makosi walking out of those doors.

But although she fluked her way to the final week, enough people wanted her to win for her to get more votes than both Craig and Kinga.

I didn't support Makosi and voted to evict her on the few occasions we had the opportunity to. I didn't agree with the booing for all the reasons I have already stated and have no intention of going over again.

This thread is not going anywhere!

Well it's getting a lot more replies than the others. If you mean it isn't going the way you want it to, then you can always change that.
I would like to add, in Davinas defence, that all the other housemates, after they had finished their interview, were paraded down the 'catwalk' to meet their fans. This wasn't done with Makosi, which saved her a lot of grief.

Makosi got what she deserved. If she genuinely thought everyone would cheer for her, she's as deluded as Lesley 'I know I'm beautiful' Sanderson.
