Actually, she seemed to be judging her husband. And, not that I am saying it's anybody's business but their own, but there's a big difference between two older adults with an age gap and a 16 year old with a 51 year old.

How do you know they're happy?

Look, these people are in there to share a house for three weeks. They're all talking about and assessing each other. The fact that she married a 51 year old at 16 is something lots of people are talking about right now. Some in far more judgemental terms than what was said in there.

She was a year older than my youngest niece when she married a 51 year old man. If a 51 year old man was interested in our Soph, I'd be very worried about that. Can't imagine my brother and his wife being terribly thrilled if a man older than them was courting their mid teen daughter.

But: reading about them a bit (googled) and seeing a little of her in the house puts a different light on it. Because as you say, love is love, and sometimes a relationship which, on paper seems suspect and exploitative, turns out to be a gem. This maybe one of those times. Who knows. None of us that's for sure.
