…I’m presuming what Redway means is similar to an expression of ‘tone deaf’ not being used in the actual meaning way but being ‘selective in what is heard’ or ignoring something that is said because it doesn’t fit with a narrative/agenda, maybe…?…someone who is insensitive/unaware etc…anyway, my interpretation of not having sharp ears is another expression for ‘tone deaf’….interesting things we learn in other people’s irritations…that’s not an expression I was familiar with…

…obviously I could be completely wrong in my interpretation and that would be very irritating…

I was wondering where that farty smell came from.

Still, it tastes nice between two slices of bread and a dollop of mustard.

And you don't need to boil an egg, our senses already have that taste sorted.

Wasn’t it just a way of using the popularity of the cop out of Breaking Bad ?

Given that the series was based off a Stephen King book which naturally alread has a very large built-in audience, my guessing is that it wasn't merely conceived as just a vehicle for Dean Norris, no.

I imagine it was why he was cast, though.

As for the show itself I have to agree with the above: the concept is good and on paper should have made for a great "Lost-style" show. In practice it was very, very slow paced and I don't think I even made it through the first season.

1. People thinking it’s acceptable to sneeze into t’open air, especially when you’s tryna eat. Nuh-uh.

2. Cozzy-livs, still. Ever-increasing cost/s of everything takes the piss.

This obsession some people have with Shirley coming back to EastEnders. She might be back one day but as far as we know Linda Henry’s abroad and on indefinite leave if we’re being polite. She. Is. Gone. And she ain’t coming back any time soon. Accept it. Get over it.

She played a very rotten, rancid-for-no-reason character in her last 8 or so years anyway. I prefer 2006-12 Shirley. Fresher and not a second-fiddle player to the extended Carters. She had bite but she wasn’t completely foul and ugly with it at that point. Hated 2015-22 Shirley.
Either way, I don’t know why some people can’t just accept that she’s gone and stop pining for her to come back in all sorts of random scenarios.

Lack of basic-propiety manners. Exaggerated coughing, sneezing and burping in public places where people want to eat and drink comfortably. Gross. Sorry but I’m just gonna have to be on one of those rolls today.

Also. This idea that Jake Moon (EastEnders) turning out to be alive after all these years is unrealistic. It was implied that at the least something bad happened to him off-screen but we never actually saw a thing. No-one said the guy was dead.
