Pleads guilty to all charges.


Paul Doyle changes his pleas to guilty in a last-minute twist on the morning his trial was due to start

The 54-year-old, of Croxteth, Liverpool, now admits 31 offences related to the incident on 26 May on Water Street, which happened as crowds were gathered to celebrate Liverpool FC's Premier League title

More than 130 people reported injuries after the Ford Galaxy Titanium collided with crowds just after 18:00 BST

The charges Doyle admits include dangerous driving, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, affray, wounding with intent and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm

They relate to 29 victims, aged between six months and 77 years old

…yeah, it was an horrendous act of rage, he apparently lied about ‘panicking’ …the impact statements that were read out in court were fairly endless, so many people impacted by his rage…he said that he’s ’ruined his family’s life’…but there are many, many lives that ‘ruin’ could apply to in the long term psychological harm his act of rage has left…he struck a pram with a small baby in it and 13yr old child was trapped under his car as he raged on…
