Ronnie accuses Peggy of putting the election above family, but Dot and Roxy persuade Peggy to carry on and to pursue her dreams.
Shirley and Heather prepare an early St Patrick’s Day party in the Vic. When Minty tells Heather they need to talk she thinks he wants her back, but is sadly mistaken.

Tuesday 17th March

At the Vic, Ronnie becomes angry with Danielle when she suddenly realises that she is responsible for the graffiti on her front door.
When Chelsea says Theo was the first decent guy to be interested in her, Lucas encourages her to call him.
Billy tells Pat he doesn’t know where Jay is and will never forgive himself if something happens to him.

Thursday 19th March

Roxy and Peggy decide they’re sick of being underestimated by Ronnie and Archie, so Peggy decides to continue with her election campaign despite Archie saying she should stand down.
Danielle runs away from a furious Ronnie and decides to leave Walford.
Patrick is annoyed with Lucas for encouraging Chelsea to call Theo but Denise is excited that Chelsea is bringing a boy home.

Friday 20th March

Archie’s world comes crashing down around him when he is faced with the truth about who Danielle really is. But what will he do next?
Max wines and dines a mystery woman, Polly, but it’s not long before she becomes suspicious about his motives for wanting to get to know her more intimately.

Danniella Westbrook in shock EastEnders return?

Now here's one we really didn't see coming - apparently EastEnders chiefs are in talks to bring Danniella Westbrook back to the show!

The actress, who played Sam Mitchell, left the soap in 2000 after a much-publicised battle with cocaine addiction and Kim Medcalf was later recast in the role.

However, the show's bosses are said to be keen to bring back Danniella now that her original co-stars Sid Owen, Patsy Palmer and Charlie Brooks are all back on the soap.

An EastEnders insider told The Sun: "She was the original Sam and the chemistry with Sid owen as Ricky was exciting stuff.

"If she returns it will be the talk of soapland for months."

Of course, regular soap viewers will be no stranger to the phenomenon of a popular character undergoing what is basically a head transplant. EastEnders' Mark was played by two different actors as was Coronation Street's Nicky, meanwhile, Neighbours' viewers are currently getting their heads around a new Libby.

Bringing back the original actor is rarer, though it has happened in both Dallas (Miss Ellie) and Home And Away (Selina).

I'm not liking EE this weeks as much, as its not focussing on Bianca and co.

Thats why I love EE though, each week they focus on a different set of characters. Then the storylines last a long period of time, but dont get old. But Corrie focuses on all characters, so the storylines get crap.

If Sam comes back I hope it's Kim Medcalf, I loved her. I miss the Chrissy, Zoe, Sam trio. I would love all three to come back, especially Chrissy. Last Tuesday's episode got over 200 complaints for being an "all black episode".

Danielle isn't leaving, I read somewhere it's been confirmed she's signed a new contract. I can't wait for tonight's episode, Archie finally finds out and then next week it'll be even better because Ronnie finds out! Glad the storyline is going to finish to be honest, it's just dragged on.
