Camera - check
Spare batteries for Camera - check
If it's a digital camera, make sure the card is empty - check
If not, make sure spool in and spare in pocket - check
Finally . . . . orange blanket in case it's cold! - check

This is SO bad. I know I could virtually go to Newport, but BB is REALLY going. I feel it in my water that a first hand in the delectable flesh, be still my beating heart, bona fide sighting of Mr Clarke is going to happen.

I wouldn't mind, but that BB had already had an 'in the flesh' sighting in WH Smith, and wasted it entirely by not manhandling him into the 'Horror and Science Fiction' section and having her wicked way with him.

I just can't get there and it's so unfair!

Knowing my luck they will probably both be ill and not be able to attend. But let us be positive

She's already in a bit of a sulk because some of us (including Boris and maggie) are having a weekend in Belfast in November.

If you fail her I shall have a permanently miffed ROB on my hands, and that is not a nice thought.

Oh dear I think I will have to go and have a lie down. Perhaps I should just stay at home and you can all have a virtual trip. But then again could I give up the chance of seeing Mr C?
