Linda's story is one of the best soap stories in the past few years, far more entertaining than anything any other soap is offering at the minute! Emmerdale is good but Kate Oates is going too far with the Declan/Charity plot. Its going to end up having had 3 different climaxes because we had the wood drama the other week with Robbie dying, then we've got him holding the Dingles hostage at Jai's today and tomorrow and then next week

Charity gets locked in the shipping container, no doubt by Declan.

EastEnders really are getting it right with Linda's, it's a shame the other 2 plots which were hyped up for this month (Kat's burns and Sharon/Phil's wedding ultimately failed to deliver).

this linda story line has been the best story in EE for a long time - at least it is getting a bit more like a adult soap opera and not a teenie boppers show.

The only issue I ever have with these sorts of stories is when who is as brassy as Linda is a quivering wreck and nobody ever cottons on. If that was a member of my family, I'd known in an instant something was seriously wrong.

It's good at the moment but I hate it with these kind of story lines where the character gets to the point of telling people then changes her mind. And it's usually because of what the other character is saying. Take her conversation with Sharon last night for example. It would have been good if she had told Mick straight away and the story developed from there. Saying that though I am enjoying EE at the moment.

It's a bit unrealistic for all these rape stories to go on for months when some are admitted at the first opportunity. Plus it's so dreary to watch.

Yes but the vast majority are never reported so if they were realistic Linda would probably never say anything.

Yes but HO's wasn't boring, just ridiculous. Too many twists and turns for a heartbreaking story: quad crash, John Paul going to prison, Finn saying John Paul molested him
