I wonder if David's gonna get found out or face conviction? I think a few months down the line when Gail gets better she'll decide to keep quiet about how she fell I think, and then her dad will come into it I think.

Would it be Attempted Murder though? He didn't do it with intent didn't he just wanna get past her? I think it would be more likely for him to go down with a GBH charge or possible attempted manslaughter (If that's a charge i'm not sure)

Crikey. One minute there are rumours that Gail Platt's dad will turn up on the cobbles and the next, it's Leanne's real mum who'll arrive. Janice, you'll remember, is Leanne's step-mum and we've never seen Leanne's real mum on screen.
