That's very decent. CBB actually dented Broadchurch and SW which were done quite a bit, as was The Undateables. However, all 5 channels did well. All 5 main channels did well in the 9pm slot. The lowest was BBC2 with 1.9m, then 2.1m for CH4. So everyone did well in the slot anyway.

I predict 2.6m tonight.

Why do you think it would be so high? I think the peak would be 2.7m (as it got that for the Jeremy aftermath)

I see your point, but the Jeremy aftermath didn't make headline news on 3 papers (it's also on the front of the metro).. Still, 3 million does seem a bit high.. 2.6-2.8 I reckon

I don't think the Ken Morley thing will make people tune in in fact I think last nights episode has the possibility to turn viewers away.

I for one got very angry and close to switching over due to the constant talk of political correctness and it just wasn't an enjoyable episode.

Controvercy doesn't always do the show favours seen after the drop off in ratings after Jade left CBB and the many series that followed.

Had a good bit of free press promotion today. Ken on Loose Women, Jeremy on This Morning and the subject of both headlines on the front page of The Sun so should do well tonight.

such strong ratings for this series. I'm hoping, when official ratings are released it tops the 3million mark. Last year's winter edition of the show got 2.99m viewers for it's first week in officials. I think it's also impressive that the current run hasn't gone below 2 million for a night, that happened on only the second day for CBB13! 3.26M (3.4M) -
2.35M (1.85M) +
2.55M (2.33M) +
2.31M (2.43M) -
2.25M (2.31M) -
2.69M (2.63M) +
2.44M (2.34M) +
2.53M (2.54M) -

CBB 15 = 2.57M (11.5%)
CBB 13 = 2.48M (10.8%)

So it's up nearly 100K on the previous run, and with an increase of 0.7% viewing, despite the fact that more than ever, less people are watching TV Live, and are catching up on demand services, I think the series will storm in both overnights and officials!

Last years CBB13 first Tuesday got 2.31, 10%

These are strong and with a lot of people watching on TiVo to skip the ads I presume the officials will be the highest we have seen since the channel took over.

I allways record the show and then start playing it at 20 past does this count me out of a live viewer and will be added to officials?

Unless you have a BARB box then you wouldn't count as a live viewer anyway
