I hope?), and narratively speaking she'd used up her nine lives, having been voted out in the tenth episode and having received votes at every tribal council she'd attended up to that point. So that's nice

This ep had an Andrew blindside written all over it, I thought they were setting him up for an almighty fall as soon as the endless confessionals about people 'stepping out of line' (soz Adolf) culminated in Phoebe finding the idol (YAY ), so I'm surprised! That said, Kat was awful and I'm pretty ambivalent towards him so idc about the result

These tribals are honestly some of my favourite ever, each one has me like:

A few other things:

Andrew appearing out of nowhere all the time ffs

Kat being one of the reasons they lost the challenge after she was lauding Rohan's departure

And as for Craig's Freudian slip saying 'if we tell you we're gonna vote out Andrew' right in front of him, I was literally like this at my laptop for the rest of the scene:

It's really unfair how much of an advantage Saanapu had when getting pick tribe members. They're never gonna get defeated unless some sort of fair swap happens </3

Thank god Andrew has gone, it was way overdue IMO. His edit was really obvious he was going but then again it was last ep so I'm glad he's out for good

So happy hes out, he's just awful. Hopefully Conner will follow him out next from that tribe, hes just a sheep, and Sue is a bit of a disappointment also - she may be next as shes so weak.

The final 15 now and I feel like I know all the contestants and they've all had air time. The show being longer has meant I've got to know people better which I really like actually.

I want the other tribe to start losing now, and Jennah-Louise has had a week or so to form relationships and has had an opportunity to shake things up so it could all still be in the air. I don't want the merge to just be an annihilation of one tribe

The boot order has been pretty good imo
Rohan and Kat will be missed personally, but the rest have either been deadweight or super annoying

Kate announcing she wants to have a ~chat~ with Craig because she's having doubts (or whatever it was) right in front of Andrew again ffs, these people are morons

The reward challenge was cool I'm liking a lot of the challenges actually, they've obviously taken inspiration from the recurring ones in the US but with new tweaks that have been pretty good

Andrew's ridiculous confessionals were making me laugh tbh they were so OTT, I didn't really care who went out of the viable options cause Kristie is a non-entity and I'm ambivalent towards Kate and Andrew but hey it was a good blindside so yay

Still really enjoying this!

There's a parade of schemers who have eliminated this series. Andrew seemed to be set up by the edit rather strongly and so it proved. He lacked any charisma that a great villain would have. Kristie seems quite useless to me, we haven't really been given much insight into her mindset, such as why she voted with Kat to get rid of Rohan for instance.

Was it really that big a blindside anyway, he knew his name was getting thrown around

The challenges I think are lifted pretty much straight from the US ones, though I don't mind as they are good. They are nearly completely physical recently though, maybe the mental shouldn't be ignored.

yasss ta ra Andrew you arsewipe. This season is back on track (to be better than, like, two thirds of US seasons, at least) now. I was sure Andrew would be sticking around for a while longer because he'd been hyped up as one of the "biggest villains ever" or w/e, so to see his power trip last all of two episodes was rather amusing

Kate and her gong surviving despite me being convinced otherwise <3 Super strength Sue-nami (until she voted with Andrew, that is) <3 Phoebe still having her idol <3 and Craig not having it <3

I've not much to say about Saanapu, except that Sam's voice is annoying the **** out of me and I guess that the majority alliance being ripped apart by a chicken is a fun little plot twist to this boring ass tribe. I liked the reward challenge as well, even though it probably needed a Randy Bailey cameo or two

Fun-and-not-at-all-depressing fact: Andrew is a year older than Rohan

There's quite a lot of deadwood still in this season for me, so not wholly with the boot order. More episodes is good but 3 days in a row hampers show discussion to put it mildly. It's not Big Brother, more happens in each episode and the channel showing it should realise that.

Sue hyped up as super strong was kind of funny. The challenge wasn't close despite us continually being told it was. I wish Sue had got voted out rather than Rohan maybe, Kristie decided otherwise in ep 9 I think (I lose track with this avalanche) and shot herself in the foot

Also while the storyline kind of makes you root for Phoebe what the hell was she telling others about her idol for? Idiotic, as the majority decide who goes anyway. When she helped vote Kat out Kat could easily have just remarked about her idol as she walked out eliminated.
