I've still yet to see any footage of the events leading up to the crowd screaming Nazi Scum at that man, strange, that.

The right aren't above using elderly plants to try to undermine a protest and without the context of showing us the events leading up to these confrontations then it's meaningless.

Anyone can rile up a crowd and then cut the footage to make themselves look like the victim. If it's as the right says then there should be footage out there that shows how these confrontations begin but there never is. How strange, you'd think they would include such footage as it would put paid to doubts of the video's validity but still, we only ever get edited clips. How very odd...

But where's the context? Violence is never the answer but we don't know what was said there. Chances are they are both equally arseholes.

It's important to cast a discerning eye over facebook posts. It's so easy to spread misinformation and people will believe and share it. That's how the anti-vaxxer **** became so prominent after all.

Let me explain the obvious differences between them to you.

Firstly, you don't know how many articles I read, I tend to check stories that I read from multiple angles just to make sure it's correct. Facts are important to me and the facts of that story is that the government is cutting legal aid and education efforts to migrant children, something they are entitled to receiving due to the Flores Agreement.

As for the 'family matter' that's just my opinion and I liked the idea of Melania's quiet rebellions, not that they were factual. Judging from the facts we do know (Melania didn't move into the White House quite a while after Trump's inauguration) as well as actual footage of Melania visibly being displeased with Trump. I made my own opinion. I didn't take the article as gospel, I made up my own mind considering the facts I knew.

Of course I want footage because we lack context as to how the incident started and the right keep making a point of creating these videos without showing off a vital part of the story that would vindicate them of any kind of claims of spin or baiting which is how these incidents begin. Context is important, as proven by me providing you with the context that unravels your argument that I am somehow being hypocritical despite the contexts of your examples being different to this story.

Context is a wonderful thing, embrace it and you can't go wrong.

All the right wingers on Twitter are holding onto this video like a raft in a shipwreck yet where is the footage of how this began? As I said before, such footage if it's as the right wingers make it out to be would eliminate all suspicion that he was a plant there to rile up the crowd and film the reaction for the purpose of allowing right wingers to clutch their pearls in faux outrage. The fact that no such footage has arisen should be regarded as suspicious by everyone regardless of your beliefs.

I have to say, I do find it odd that suddenly so many people would randomly chant nazi scum at someone. There must be context to this. Though, the behaviour is still quite shocking really..as is, yet again the mlkshake thing. The constant milkshake thing now, people just copying others, its pathetic. It was pathetic when it was first copied (the guy with Robinson, it seemed there was a reason for it rather than 'look how progressive I am, I can chuck milkshake at people, haha lolz') and its even more pathetic now, yet will continue because idiots will keep applauding these people for, well, being idiots.

Having said all of this, that crowd is fairly large, I find it hard to believe that none of the 'lefties' got footage of the start off to this either? People always have their phones out recording, and if he was like, basically working the crowd to get them worked up, surely one of the 'right on' lot would have shoved a phone in his face to film for viral likes later on if nothing else...

Dare I say, maybe the context makes both sides look like idiots, hence the edited version being shared and noone coming up with a longer one..
