I agree, the arctic monkeys won it, end of. They are an amazing band/songwriters/live perfomers. All of this is my opinion. But you cant just slate everyone just because Leona didn't win.

I'd be lying if I said that I'm not disappointed, and that this isn't a total farce (because it IS).

But, on the brightside, Leona never even expected to be nominated in the first place, winning would've been fantastic but she was already pleased with just being nominated.

But it's a disgrace that acts like the Arctics, who don't even show any genuine gratitude and just show up pissed, win over someone who it would've meant so much more to. And I don't just mean Leona, I mean anyone else who would've been grateful for it, like TT or Mika.

Kate Nash getting British Female is a joke too. I wouldn't have minded Leona losing it if it was someone like KT Tunstall who is actually good, but Kate Nash SUCKS and it is an absolute travesty that she won over nominees like Leona. Leona deserved at least one award.

But as I said, she was so pleased already with being nominated, and just being asked to perform (she was brilliant btw!). I'm sure I'll get over it, Leona will have other opportunities to get such awards.

Favourite Worst Nightmare was 2007, it was at number one for a couple of weeks, there were two really great hits from it "Brianstorm" and "Fluorescent Adolsecent". Perhaps they're not deserving winners to you because they stay out of that "I'm talentless but 'interesting'" group that Mika belongs in. He's so awful, I really don't understand how people can enjoy listening to his music..

The Arctic Monkeys showed no appreciation. IMO they're are just living off there fluke of a success from 2006.

An award for "Best British Album" is for the best album, not for the artist who would appreciate it loads.

And that stuff about her not expecting to be nominated is crap...you don't sell 2 million albums in 6 weeks and not expect to be up for any awards.

Im happy that leona didn't win anything, im not saying she isnt talentless because does have a good voice, but i believe that there are other artists out there who are better than her, who knows next year she could win?

She was completely snubbed. Even at the start when they mentioned former BRIT school students. If they can't ad knowledge someone who has had the biggest selling single of 2007 and the fastest selling debut album ever then who can they? Some pissed band who have done nothing in the past year.
