- The album is almost done. Christina is to do some final adjustments and recordings to clean some tracks, but pretty much it is all done
- She thinks the album (or single) will be released in June/July, but that isn't final
- Christina will start doing some random small appearances, like Perez Hilton's bday party, to get into the spotlight again slowly until the promo starts
- Christina worked with AT LEAST 6 different producers for the album
- There are concepts about the theme of the pictures/promo, but none of the pics were taken yet
- They still don't know which tracks will make the album
- The vocal style for some of the Sia tracks reminds of Breathe Me and Moon, but not all of the tracks have the futuristic effects on them. Some have big vocals.
- Visually, the album and looks will have some of the GH style. It seems that once she was playing with a wig and Max run away from her and hid behind Jordan, so she shouldn't change her look for now otherwise her son doesn't recognize her lmao.

hmm. granted Stripped will always be her best, I don't think S2.0 is ever possible because Stripped was like her way of getting everything out, cleansing. Now she's done it there's no way she could produce it again. She's married with a child, she's in too good a place to create an album like that again.

I hated B2B, wayy to powerful ballad after ballad blah blah. I don't want the new album to be too KGB or she'll turn into GaGa.

ugh I think B2B is under-rated. Yes it certainly suffered from a lack of variety and had about 4 to many huge ballads, but when it was good it was amazing. It was incredible for her to take the risk of doing an album like it.

I think she'll always be separate from GaGa as even if she does go the electro route for the whole album it'll either be sort of retro, 70's or very futuristic, Kanye sounding. She has actually stated Andy Warhol and Kanye as two of her inspirations for the album.

&Back To Basics is my favourite Xtina album. Admittedly, I found the first disc a bit repetitive. I LOVE Jazz and Blues music, it's one of my favourite genre but most of it was a bit samey/vocally overwhelming.
The second disc is a masterpiece though, not one track I hate. My faves are Nasty Naughty Boy, The Right Man, Mercy On Me, and Hurt.
Nasty Naughty Boy is one of my fave songs of hers EVER, and B2B is hugely underrated IMO. It was too.. different methinks. No-one would expect her to release a jazz album and because it's not really a HUGE genre unless you specialize in it, it didn't benefit ChrissyA.

meh I didn't like the cover much anyhow lol.

Anywhoo after listening to Fighter with Dave and it's kind of something I've been thinking about for awhile )I've heard other fans say it too). I would really love her to do a rock-ier album. Not completely rock sort of like P!nk meets Evanesence. Her voice is so powerful it could definitely handle the music and tracks like Fighter, Walk Away even Soar that have that little rocky edge - they just give me shivers. I think it's not impossible too. I mean she loves to totally change direction each album and she has expressed admiration for some rock acts (Jane's Addiction, to name one).

I'd LOVE her to do an Evanescence style album, it'd be amazing. I agree, Fighter, Walk Away, Make Over? would be fantastic! Xtina gone goth? LOL

&I've compiled all her bsides/bonustracks/soundtracks into one album that I titled 'A Song For You' and all her duets into an album I called 'With Xtina: The Duets'. I made covers too so I could upload them (probably not till monday though)
