I've come up with some great ideas (hopefully they're executed well) for ICB3 but this really won't be done any time soon. I'd like to keep it to one a year but I think the gap between ICB and ICB2 was about 10 months so maybe I could do this at Christmas or something - of course Uni will factor into the equation but if I can get all of the writing done up in advance then I'd like to go ahead with it.

I know it sounds rude but I'd really not like anyone else taking over. It feels like my baby, and it seems too many games these days are just dragged up by any old member

[i'm aware this sounds like I'm slagging off loads of you but I just really don't want the prospect of IN COLD BLOOD 4 - HOSTED BY PATRICK~]

But yeah. I'm coming up with ideas for murders, twists and I think I might change the format of the game. I was toying with the idea of writing up character bios that players apply for but I don't like the idea of the game becoming too scripted and boring for everyone. That said I really don't want the murderer to really stick out like a sore thumb like PJ did with his knighthood and red hair in series 1... LOL. But I'll see. I need to immerse myself in crime films/tv/books.

I have a fun and competitive game in mind to run alongside the main BB series starting in a couple of weeks if no-one has any objections. Survivor will be finished by then, and I don't think there is anything else coming up immediately???? I will need 12 contestants and 3 Judges please, more details when I have written it up for posting, probably tomorrow. Let's just say it requires wit and humour

for now.

OK so I've come up with a premise that changes the entire format of In Cold Blood but is still pretty recognisable to the first two series. I'm not revealing much right now but I've taken quite a bit of inspiration from Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" and the very reason this forum is here...

I'm also in the process of designing characters (well, creating them, but not actually designing them

). When I open applications you'll be applying for roles rather than creating your own - and the (original) Killer will be pre-set. I have two twists, four murders and one task sorted out so far - I imagine I'll be resurrecting some old standard tasks (song challenges, unscrambling, etc

) too though.

Alliance 2 may be coming sooner than expected. I was going to hold back because Mollie was doing TiBB BB3 but I was planning mine before hand so whatever, plus pretty soon I will actually have to do some uni work

I can't run the next pub quiz because I'm starting at Uni in just over a fortnight, but I would instruct the person who runs it:

- Make sure all of your images are stills from YouTube videos. It takes a lot of effort but it's about the only thing that can't be found by Googling
- Upload them all yourself. Obviously off-site URLs can be found easily

- Try to make all of the answers a variety of difficulties. Some easy, some obscure, some very difficult.
- Give each round 2 days minimum (the rest should be however long you take to score and prepare the posts).

Shouldn't be a problem. Depends when though and what the game entails.

We already have a game thats based on BBUS so theres no point in another one really.

Also, there may be a few games that will have to be postponed because members are announcing them without arranging it with admin/mods first and now theres far too many planned for round about the same times.

For ICB3 I've so far come up with:
- 10/15 characters
- 4/10 murders
- 4 twists (enough I think)
- 2/10 tasks
- The blueprints to a background story

The characters and tasks should be easy to finish (since I've done 2 new tasks; I can revive some old favourites to fill up spaces), and I need to do a little research to find some more creative murders (although I don't want them to be farfetched

).

I would like to do TiBB Treasure Hunt again but actually finish it this time. It would have 10 members and run for 4-5 weeks with 1/2 puzzles per week.

It was quite a popular game when I did it, but I was uncommitted to say the least. Would this be allowed??
