I'm not totally ignorant to what goes on in these programs. I do read things. And I have seen them before, that doesn't make me an avid viewer.

But it's just the same story-line over and over again. The stories don't change, just the cast. Yet soaps take up a couple of hour's every day, Monday to Friday of our main channels prime-time viewing.

If each of Coronation Street, Eastenders and Emmerdale had one half hour slot a week, it would be more appealing, and the recurring doom and gloom story-lines wouldn't be as frequent.
